CoVet Partners with VECCS to Expand Access to AI-Powered Documentation for Emergency and Critical Care Clinicians

Collaboration brings CoVet’s AI scribing and copilot tools directly to members of the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society

CoVet is proud to announce a new partnership with the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society (VECCS), further expanding our commitment to supporting veterinarians working in the most demanding clinical environments. Through this collaboration, we are bringing our AI-powered scribing and copilot tools directly to emergency and critical care professionals who face some of the highest documentation burdens in veterinary medicine. Today, more emergency and critical care veterinarians use CoVet than any other AI scribing or assistant solution, reflecting the trust ECC teams place in technology built for complex and fast-paced clinical settings.

Emergency and critical care teams manage complex and often multi-day hospitalized cases under intense time pressure, where accurate and consistent documentation is essential. To support these realities, CoVet has introduced capabilities tailored to emergency workflows, including tools for complex case documentation, improved continuity during doctor-to-doctor transfers between shifts, and streamlined creation of thorough discharge summaries.

By partnering with VECCS, we are strengthening our presence within a leading association dedicated to advancing emergency and critical care, while ensuring its members have streamlined access to technology designed to reduce time spent on records, improve consistency, and enhance client communication.

“Emergency and critical care clinicians work at the forefront of veterinary medicine, often in fast-paced and high-stakes situations,” said Yannick, Founder and CEO of CoVet. “At CoVet, our mission is to remove documentation as a barrier to great medicine. Partnering with VECCS allows us to support these professionals with AI tools that help them reclaim time and focus on what matters most: patient care.”

“VECCS is committed not only to providing leading education our members but also to identifying resources that support them in their professional lives” said Chris Gray, CEO VECCS. “CoVet introduces innovative AI documentation tools to veterinary professionals and as such may be extremely helpful to emergency and critical care teams navigating increasing administrative demands and high caseloads”

Through this partnership, we aim to make advanced AI documentation more accessible to emergency and critical care clinicians and further integrate CoVet into the workflows of high-performing teams. By supporting complex, multi-day cases, improving shift-to-shift continuity, and simplifying discharge communication, we expect to empower more VECCS members to reduce administrative burden and dedicate more time to patient care.

Veterinary professionals should influence product requirements, templates, testing, quality review, localization, implementation, support, and education. CoVet uses an in-house Medical Department led by Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Mike Mossop, alongside DVMs, RVTs, specialty advisors, and other team members with veterinary-practice experience to keep clinical workflows connected to product development.
