The CoVet application and associated services are hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure, providing data redundancy, backup, and security measures across multiple global locations. While data may be stored or processed in countries outside your residence, including the United States, CoVet has implemented safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses and adherence to international data protection standards, to protect your personal information during these transfers. For enterprise clients, CoVet can provide further documentation and specifics on data location and protection protocols as part of a customized Service Level Agreement (SLA) to ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory needs.
7.2. Safeguards
We have implemented appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal information remains protected when transferred internationally. These safeguards include binding corporate rules (BCRs), standard contractual clauses (SCCs) approved by relevant data protection authorities, and compliance with applicable international privacy standards, such as GDPR.
