Innovator in AI-Enabled Veterinary Education, Dr. Eleanor M. Green, Joins CoVet as Strategic Advisor

Founding Dean at Lyon College and former Texas A&M Dean brings decades of pioneering veterinary leadership to guide CoVet's AI-first education and clinical initiatives.

CoVet, the veterinary AI-powered clinical copilot and scribing tool, today announced that Eleanor M. Green, DVM, DACVIM, DABVP, Founding Dean of the newly established Lyon College School of Veterinary Medicine, has joined the company as a strategic advisor.

Dr. Green is one of the most influential figures in veterinary education and veterinary medicine. She made history as the first female veterinary faculty administrator at multiple institutions, including Dean at Texas A&M's College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. Today, she leads the newly launched Lyon College veterinary program in Arkansas, the first veterinary school to be announced in the state, where she's building a bold new model of AI-enabled veterinary education.

With deep roots in Florida and currently based on a small ranch near Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. Green's career has consistently placed her at the forefront of clinical innovation, academic excellence, and technology-driven transformation.

"Artificial intelligence is ushering in a fundamental shift in how veterinarians learn, diagnose, and deliver care," said Dr. Eleanor Green. "CoVet is at the very forefront of this transformation. Their AI copilot doesn't merely automate paperwork; it elevates clinical reasoning, communication, and continuous learning at the point of care. I'm thrilled to help guide a solution that will shape the future of our profession - both in practice and in academia."

As part of CoVet's advisory board, Dr. Green will help guide the company's work in the education sector. Her role includes advising on academic partnerships, supporting CoVet's efforts to align with veterinary schools like Lyon College, and ensuring future veterinarians are trained in AI-first environments.

"We couldn't be more honored to welcome Dr. Green," said Aaron Massecar, VP of Partnerships at CoVet. "Her vision for evidence-based education and her lifelong commitment to mentorship mirror our mission: empowering the next generation of veterinarians with the smartest tools possible. Together, we will ensure that tomorrow's practitioners graduate ready to deliver higher-quality, more compassionate care."

Expected Outcomes: Empowering AI-First Veterinary Education

Dr. Green's adoption of CoVet marks a new milestone for CoVet as it expands its impact across veterinary academia, after its partnership with Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Her deep understanding of educational ecosystems and her pioneering work, including co-founding the Veterinary Innovation Summit with Dr. Adam Little at Texas A&M, will help shape CoVet's roadmap for transforming veterinary learning and practice.

CoVet's partnership with Lyon College will serve as a model for what's possible when cutting-edge AI meets forward-thinking curriculum. The goal is to build a new generation of clinicians who are not just users of technology, but leaders in its application for improved care, communication, and clinical outcomes.

Veterinary professionals should influence product requirements, templates, testing, quality review, localization, implementation, support, and education.
