About ezyVet integration with CoVet
Overview
The ezyVet integration connects CoVet to your ezyVet environment at the API layer, so appointments come into CoVet as cases and finished records export straight back to the right patient in ezyVet.
It is a paid integration billed per ezyVet server. Setup is a guided flow: you generate API credentials in ezyVet, hand them to CoVet, then map your users before the connection goes live.
ezyVet export covers History, Exam, Assessment and Plan notes plus Vitals. Images inside documents and PDF attachments are not exported.
How does it work?
Direct API connection. CoVet authenticates with your ezyVet environment using API credentials you generate in ezyVet, then syncs cases and records without manual copy-paste.
Appointment import. ezyVet appointments flow into CoVet as cases, with import naming you can review during setup.
Structured record export. When a visit is finished in CoVet, the structured record posts back to the patient's ezyVet chart. Only History, Exam, Assessment and Plan notes plus Vitals are exported; images in documents and PDF attachments are not.
User mapping. Confirm which CoVet team members map to your ezyVet users so imports and exports are attributed to the right person.
Pricing
The ezyVet integration is $40 USD per month per ezyVet server - not per user. The fee appears on your regular CoVet invoice and renews monthly or annually until the integration is deleted. Charges are prorated and only begin once the integration is approved.

How to get connected
- In ezyVet, go to Admin → Integration → API Partner, add CoVet, and download the API credentials file.
- In CoVet, open My Account → Integrations/Connections and click Connect under the ezyVet tile.
- Enter your ezyVet API credentials and confirm which CoVet team the connection belongs to.
- Work through the three mapping steps: review users, review import naming, and preview a sample export.
- Complete activation and confirm you see the success message.
Prerequisites
- An active paid CoVet subscription (the integration cannot be enabled during a free trial).
- Administrative access in ezyVet to generate API credentials.
- The ezyVet API credentials file from Admin → Integration → API Partner.
