Why is my appointment not showing up in CoVet?

An appointment only imports when it has a patient linked, that patient is confirmed, and it includes exactly one patient. A missing appointment is usually missing required patient information in Vettigo.

Are multi-pet appointments supported?

No. Appointments covering more than one patient are not imported, and neither are appointments without a linked patient or with an unconfirmed patient.

Where does exported content end up in Vettigo?

All exported content is sent to one field on the linked appointment: Journal Entry. You control which template sections map into it.

Is my formatting preserved on export?

No. Vettigo currently supports plain text only, so rich text and Markdown formatting are not carried across. The content is converted to readable plain text first.

About Vettigo integration with CoVet

Overview

The Vettigo integration imports appointments into CoVet and exports visit documentation back once the consult is complete, so your team can start a case straight from a Vettigo appointment and keep both systems in step.

Setup is a two-sided activation: you give consent in Vettigo under Settings (Opsætning) → AI → CoVet, then enter your Department ID and Clinic ID in CoVet. Exports land in the linked appointment's Journal Entry field.

Vettigo supports plain text only, so rich text and Markdown formatting are not preserved on export.

How does it work?

Appointment import. Vettigo appointments import into CoVet as linked cases and appear on your Cases page, ready to document. An appointment needs a linked, confirmed patient and exactly one patient to come across.
Document export. Open a case, pick the document, and choose Export to Vettigo. Preview it, confirm, and it posts to the linked appointment. SOAP notes, visit documentation, and discharge summaries are all supported.
Journal Entry mapping. All exported content goes into a single Vettigo field, Journal Entry. Use Preview for Vettigo on a template to see exactly how it will land, then Edit fields to adjust which sections map across.
Template and per-case control. Set section mapping once at the template level, or adjust it on an individual document right before exporting that case.
Flexible timing. Walk-in and emergency appointments with a linked patient are supported, as are same-day documentation and delayed exports such as equine visits finished later.

How to get connected

In CoVet, open your Profile, then Integrations/Connections, find Vettigo, and click Connect.
Review the supported imports and exports along with the known limitations.
In Vettigo, go to Settings (Opsætning) → AI → CoVet and confirm consent.
Find your Department ID and Clinic ID in Vettigo under the question mark icon in the Min klinik section.
Enter both IDs in CoVet.
Confirm you see the success message in CoVet.
