The new integration brings ezyVet appointments and patient histories into CoVet, then sends approved records back to ezyVet.
CoVet, the veterinary industry’s leading AI copilot platform, today announced a certified, two-way integration developed with IDEXX for ezyVet, its global practice management system.
One of the most requested integrations from CoVet users, the launch follows six months of close collaboration between CoVet and IDEXX, including joint development, quality assurance, and beta testing. The result is a certified integration designed to meet both companies’ high standards while reducing the administrative work involved in moving appointment, patient, and clinical information between systems.
Once enabled, appointment information and patient histories are imported from ezyVet into CoVet. Following the consultation, the completed clinical documents are reviewed and approved in CoVet, then exported back to the correct patient record in ezyVet.
“Our users have been asking for an ezyVet integration for a long time, and we wanted to deliver something that genuinely improves the way information moves through the practice,” said Yannick Bloem, CEO and Co-Founder of CoVet. “The opportunity here was to reduce that fragmentation by creating a direct connection between the consultation in CoVet and the patient record in ezyVet. That gives teams a more complete workflow without adding another layer of administration.”
The ezyVet integration expands a broader collaboration between CoVet and IDEXX to connect clinical documentation, diagnostics, and practice workflows.
With CoVet’s recently launched IDEXX Lab Data Summary, teams can pull a patient’s IDEXX lab history into a case and generate a structured, editable summary. Organized by organ system, with priority levels and trends across dates, the summary gives veterinarians a fast, reviewable view of the patient’s results before the information is incorporated into the record. Together, the ezyVet integration and IDEXX Lab Data Summary create a more connected path from booking and diagnostics through to the completed clinical record.
As an official IDEXX Integration Partner, CoVet will continue working with IDEXX to develop connected workflows that reduce duplicate entry and help veterinary teams use clinical information more effectively.
The ezyVet integration is available now to CoVet subscribers on a paid plan. Teams can enable it from the Integrations page in their CoVet account, match their CoVet users to their ezyVet providers, and begin importing appointments right away.
