CoVet Integrates Vetlexicon to Deliver Trusted Clinical and Client Education Directly Within the Veterinary Workflow

New partnership embeds Vetlexicon’s  peer-reviewed Client Factsheets  into CoVet’s in-app clinical cases, transforming how veterinary teams educate clients and support care decisions

CoVet, the leading veterinary AI copilot, today announced a new partnership with Vetlexicon, the trusted clinical reference library used by veterinary professionals worldwide.  This partnership brings Vetlexicon's high-quality client-facing factsheets directly into the CoVet app, allowing veterinarians, nurses, and technicians to access trusted resources that can be digitally shared without ever leaving the patient case.

By embedding Vetlexicon's Client Factsheets within the consult workflow, CoVet helps veterinary teams easily create Vetlexicon-backed client education resources to share with pet owners, without leaving the patient record.

“Veterinary teams are under constant pressure to move quickly while still delivering clear, confident guidance to pet owners,” said Yannik Bloem, CEO and Co-Founder at CoVet. “By integrating Vetlexicon’s Client Factsheets directly into the CoVet app, we are removing friction from the clinical workflow and helping practices turn their medical records into meaningful, easy-to-understand client education, without extra steps or extra time.”

“This partnership allows Vetlexicon Client Factsheets to be used exactly when and where it matters most,” said Robert Moss, COO at Vetlexicon.

“With broader opportunities to embed more of our clinical content library in the future, our reference tool will no longer be a separate database, but an integrated part of the live clinical conversation. Starting the project with our Client Factsheets opens up the support opportunities for both the veterinary team and the pet owner, with consistent, evidence-based information tied directly to each individual case.”

As a result of this partnership, veterinary teams using CoVet will be able to unlock new efficiencies and communication capabilities, including accessing trusted clinical and client-facing resources without leaving the case, generating Vetlexicon-backed client handouts as part of discharge communication, and improving owner understanding and compliance through clearer, more consistent explanations.

For Vetlexicon, the partnership introduces a powerful new distribution channel, embedding its content directly into real-world consults and extending its reach to pet owners on a case-by-case basis. For CoVet users, the partnership reduces time spent searching, copying, and assembling documents, helping practices deliver higher-quality care while saving valuable clinical time.

Together, CoVet and Vetlexicon are redefining how clinical knowledge flows from the veterinary team to the pet owner, making education clearer, faster, and more impactful at the point of care.

Why Clinical Excellence Must Be Built Into Veterinary AI

August 14, 2026·10 minutes

Veterinary professionals should influence product requirements, templates, testing, quality review, localization, implementation, support, and education. CoVet uses an in-house Medical Department led by Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Mike Mossop, alongside DVMs, RVTs, specialty advisors, and other team members with veterinary-practice experience to keep clinical workflows connected to product development.
