CoVet Launches Integration with Pack Leader DVM to Streamline documentation for Specialty and Referral Teams

New integration connects CoVet’s AI clinical copilot with Pack Leader DVM, helping specialty and multi-specialty teams move faster on documentation, communication, and client care.

CoVet, the veterinary AI copilot, today announced a new integration with Pack Leader DVM, a cloud-based veterinary EMR and practice management platform built for specialty and multi-specialty clinics.

For referral and specialty teams that often receive lengthy medical histories, outside records, and complex case documentation, the integration helps veterinarians get up to speed faster and move clearer notes and summaries directly into Pack Leader DVM.

“Referral and specialty teams are often asked to absorb a huge amount of case history in very little time,” said Yannick Bloem, CEO and Co-Founder of CoVet. “This integration with Pack Leader DVM helps veterinarians get oriented faster, document more clearly, and keep critical information moving through the practice without adding more administrative work.”

"This integration delivers CoVet’s AI-powered documentation directly into Pack Leader DVM- enabling support forms, letters, and clinical records to flow seamlessly into the appropriate areas of the platform. said Mike Buhler, CEO at Pack Leader DVM. "The result is a more efficient workflow that saves time and keeps providers focused on patient care."

CoVet integrates with Pack Leader DVM via a secure, bidirectional API connection, allowing Pack Leader DVM users to pull appointment details into CoVet and send notes back without any copy-and-paste or duplicate entries. With CoVet and Pack Leader DVM working together, specialty teams can get up to speed on complex cases faster, keep handoffs cleaner, and reduce the documentation burden that slows down high-acuity care. The result is a more connected workflow that can save veterinarians more than two hours per day on documentation while helping practices stay focused on timely, coordinated patient care.

Clinical excellence in veterinary AI requires more than having veterinarians endorse a product. Veterinary professionals should influence product requirements, templates, testing, quality review, localization, implementation, support, and education. CoVet uses an in-house Medical Department led by Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Mike Mossop, alongside DVMs, RVTs, specialty advisors, and other team members with veterinary-practice experience to keep clinical workflows connected to product development.
