CVS’s extensive review found CoVet to be a helpful solution for clinicians, backed by strong security and privacy safeguards
CoVet, the AI copilot built to reduce administrative burden for veterinary professionals, has partnered with CVS Vets, a leading UK veterinary services provider.
Through the partnership, clinicians can use CoVet for real-time documentation and clearer case summaries, helping reduce admin in complex referral workflows.
“Veterinary medicine asks clinicians to absorb a huge amount of information quickly, then communicate clearly across every stage of the case,” said Yannick Bloem, CEO and co-founder at CoVet. “CoVet helps make that information easier to review, carry forward, and communicate, supporting the continuity of care for specialists, referring vets, and clients alike."
Graham Dodds, Director of Innovation, Transformation and Client Experience at CVS, said: "The pilot has given us the insight and the confidence to continue exploring AI responsibly, always with patient care, colleague wellbeing and client experience at the centre of the journey. We will continue to monitor safety, accuracy and user experience, and enable AI scribing to grow as we continue to monitor the benefits."
Feedback from the CVS sites has been encouraging, with clinicians reporting time savings, particularly outside the consultation and smoother documentation workflows.
It also demonstrated the importance of training, leadership support and thoughtful implementation.
Some feedback has also pointed to the potential for tools like CoVet to ease workload pressure, support more timely departures, and improve day-to-day job satisfaction.
